Re: Boise Tailgate

Staying at the Courtyard and walking to the Alumni Association tailgate and then to the stadium. After the Wyoming fiasco I said I would never attend another Alumni Association tailgate. The one at UNC wasn’t bad though. Are you talking about the game and situational coaching or the actual alumni t...

Re: Boise Hotels

I was able to book a room at the Courtyard Downtown for now but might check out some Airbnb and VRBO rentals.

Boise Hotels

Booked my flights to Boise and now looking for accommodations. Searched the board to see where App fans are staying but the only mention I found was the Riverside Hotel. Any other suggestions/recommendations? Where y’all staying?

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing

When I was a student there was a gas station on BR Rd that sold 3 hot dogs for 99 cents. Wouldn’t pass sanitation codes now but back in the early 80s it was a great deal for a poor college student. No telling what the hell was in those dogs and I really don’t want to know.

Re: Spring Game Weather

I worked at a beer & wine store in BR in the early and mid 80s. I remember dropping off a bank deposit in the early hours of June 1 and there were a few snow flurries.

Spring Game Weather

Looks like Saturday’s weather will be more winter like than spring. Current forecast says high of 46 but will feel like 39. Winds up to 20 mph. Attendance will likely take a hit.

I’ll be there today with another App alum. Weather should be nice with temps in the upper 70’s. Time for an App win.

The only good thing at Zaxby’s are the salads, specifically the house salad. The best chicken fingers are at Raising Cane’s IMO.

He mentioned that he could have made a lot more money at South Carolina so it sounds like he took a pay cut. It also tells me he really wants to be here with the hope of moving up one day to a big pay check. I’m good with that.

Re: RIP Legends

Had some good times there. Saw Joan Jett in the mid 80s. Man, I was at that same Joan Jett concert, it was amazing to see her in such a small setting. I still tell people it was my favorite concert. She was promoting the movie Light of Day, starring her and Michael J Fox. I got Joan Jett’s autograp...
