Re: Behind the Mic
The post really got me thinking about this year and different opinions being thrown around. I know we all believe we have an idea of who should start, or give this player a chance, or coach should do this. However, like many of you have said maybe the most important thing we as fans can do is fight ...

Behind the Mic
If you haven't read David Jackson's latest behind the mic, its worth checking out. He brings up some really good points about this season and his view of the future of the football team. http://www.appstatesports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=107093&SPID=12805&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=209278611&DB_OEM_ID=21500

Re: Official Ted Turner prediction thread
I'm really not sure on how this game will go. I'd like to think that we could find a way to win west of the mississippi for the first time.
24-21. Asu wins. More of a defensive game that people expect.

I'll be there with two other 2010 Appalachian grads. Flying into missoula friday night. Glacier national park sunday and monday. Staying at the campus inn. Can't wait to tailgate, and check out the local breweries. Section 114 row 13.

Re: Football Prediction Correction
Montana will be tough. They brought back in the qb from 2010 that led them to a deep playoff run. He was out last year due to suspension. He might be rusty. I believe...not sure though, that the RB graduated. I think App will win the game.

They've been practicing with music on to prepare for the noise. Jamal has been quoted saying they are working on silent hand signals to get ready for Montana.

Re: Trip To Montana...Need Suggestions
The montana game and IMO the Western game are the biggest games of the season. Even though we don't have a post season I think the game in Montana still have a lot of meaning to both the players, coaches, and fans. We have never won there. As for the Western game I think its significant because we w...

I know what you mean. Being in the band and marching into Michigan was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. I think that was the loudest our marching cadence ever was too. It also gave me one of the best seats in the house

I'm all for playing them in 2014. Whether it is home or away. It would be a good home game for them with a sold out crowd. Yes I understand that they are not FBS yet. However, its still a transitional year for us. If we beat them in Charlotte I can only imagine it'll help us with recruiting as well.

Re: Stadium renovation to start soon?
KBS sits 24,000 of which ~11k seats are reserved for students and visitors. There are ~4k seats available for mini season ticket packages if you look online. That puts KBS at 70% season tickets (excluding student and visitor seating), I would think that number needs to be north of 80% before we exp...

I'll miss the home jerseys a lot. I liked the Yellow on the sleeves. Love the new white jerseys though.

Can't wait for this one. Still waiting to buy a plane ticket out there. It's still a bit pricy to fly in to missoula. Hoping that it'll drop a little. My group will fly in friday night, catch the game saturday, then head to glacier sunday and monday for some hiking. Return to NC tuesday. Cheaper to...

Griz5700 What hotels would you suggest? I saw the campus inn seems decent. I believe some of the other ones mentioned are already getting booked. If you were to pick a day hike in Glacier what would be your choice? We can hike for several hours.

#14
Sean Price continues to impress and could set records at App. He has the potential to become one of the App all time greats. Will he continue to wear #14, or will App finally retire the jersey. Does anyone have any information on this?

Re: Schedule Released
I like the schedule a lot. I do agree the last 4 or 5 games are going to be a grind for us.
I have a feeling that if we walk out of Montana with a win we can string 6-7 wins together.
Can't wait for August!

glad to hear I can probably get it through the ticket office. It looks like Butte is probably the airport to fly into and get a rent-a-car.
