We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Davidson sucks game thread

I'd be willing to give Capel another season if he can bring us the SoCon Tourney Championship and the chance to play in the big dance.

Re: UNC Greens-Brah Roll Call

I'm going with a couple people! They're offering free food/drinks to Student Yosef Club members to boost attendance. They should be offering free food/drinks to ALL students if they want to boost attendance. The Student Yosef Club members are the ones most likely to go to the game anyway, without in...

Re: ASU/WCU video feed

It was my understanding that the only way to receive the game was through WCU's feed. In my opinion, paying $10 to watch is reasonable compared to paying $30 per ticket plus gas, etc...
Hopefully it is better than ours and Chatty's!

Re: 7-4

I didn't say it was a disadvantage to them. Many teams have been successful running the TO without a lot of speed. Air Force in the Fisher DeBerry days comes to mind quickly, and when they execute properly they will get yards. Wofford does what they do very well. It doesn't make it any less frustra...

Re: 7-4

Everyone in my section on Saturday was struck by just how slow Wofford was. We called it the Slothbone offense after watching them slo-motion down the field time after time. I don't believe Wofford finds their speed to be a disadvantage, nor do their opponents. In the triple option, the QB must rea...

Re: As bad as it was...

Excellent post. And, let's not forget that we are at West Carolina this week. This will be their Super Bowl. While we should win, there's always a possibility for another letdown. We still have a lot to play for and hopefully the team will respond. If we lose to Western, App Nation may implode. I c...

Re: Playoff Projections by Sports Network

There are 122 teams participating in Division I FCS football. Even with our loss, we are predicted to be playing in the 20 team playoff tournament. Now I know that we are accustomed to going to the playoffs, but I think we take this for granted. If an outsider with no knowledge of FCS football looke...

Re: One of the worst performances I've seen in awhile.

I agree with most of these points. The game seemed easily winnable, but we just didn't execute. Does anyone know what happened during the play where our O-Line stopped playing after the snap? I assumed our offensive line thought the Wofford defense went offside. Either way, they should play until th...

Re: Calling on the 12th Man

I have respect for all of you, and for every fan who yells their lungs out every game. I get into the game early, and get 50 yard line seats in the student section. To be completely honest, there are times this season, as well as last, where I would be the only one yelling within 15 feet when we're ...

Re: Student Section

Unfortunately, as you mentioned, problematic students will not receive this message. Those students are not true fans, and they're not too likely to visit this forum. Sure, they are fans, and they make an effort to attend the home football games (weather-permitting, of course). To be fair, some of t...

FCS Wide Discussion

I'm not sure how many of you have heard of Reddit, but it is a popular website with budding discussions on almost every topic one could think of. Topic categories are divided into "sub-reddits", which are basically discussion pages about the topic. There is an App State page, along with an even more...

By the way, does anyone know how to view a live stream of this game? Do we have to purchase the game from Samford's athletic website?

Re: 2nd & 15

It seems to me that running up the gut works about a fourth of the time. When we spread the run to the outside, it tends to work better for us. Fortunately, Steven Miller is turning into a great receiving threat, so I can't complain about him not fitting into a fullback role.

Re: UTC Neulion

I just tried... it sadly does not work. But, Chattanooga offers a pay-per-view system which allows you to watch the game live through their NeuLion player for a one-time payment of $8.95. Usually this would be a no-brainer for me. Watching the game for under $10, that's a cheap ticket! But with the ...

All the signs on campus order the parking lots to be cleared of vehicles by 10am on Saturday or the remaining vehicles will be towed.

Let's show Montana some class. I've been treated excellently at Virginia Tech and East Carolina. Let's have Montana fans walking away with memories of great fans (and a loss).

Re: Official No Grizzlies in our Mountains prediction thread

Mountaineers: 24 Grizzlies: 21 I predict a score of 21-17 in favor of the Grizzlies with three minutes or less on the clock when the Mountaineers get possession. Jackson to Malachi Jones for the clutch TD. After we're in the lead, the Grizzlies will try to make some major plays in the air with litt...
