We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: NMSU-Idaho to SBC
I may be offbase, but I get the feeling that the future of college football (especially at this level) is not about fans travelling to games. Its about three things - viewers, viewers and viewers. We've been used to a league over the years where the schools were in driving distance and we'd show up ...

Lots of great memories there as well. My wife had paton for the class you mention, I'll have to ask her what she recalls.

Re: QUESTION CONCERNING MOVING UP?
I haven't been reading or posting regularly, so forgive me if this has been previously addressed, but I remain - after all this time - still uncertain as to what our best move is. My gut feeling is that the best solution is a total reconfiguration of collegiate athletics with the net end result of c...

Good to hear.
And naturally, The Citadel goes to Raleigh and lays a giant egg. Been that kind of year.

Re: What I learned today
I learned The Citadel had a heck of a game plan, one we didn't adjust to well for whatever reason. I understand they showed a different defensive front than what the offense practiced against all week. Sounds like they put a special effort into this preparing for this one...maybe they saw how decima...

Re: Charleston Post & Courier article
That and the QB's comment about how it felt like practice. Sadly, he's probably right.
NC State better get ready...especially after having their way with South Alabama. They may be looking at schedule and thinking - FCS game, breeze. Of course, El Cid will probably pull a Wake Forest and lose 52-0.

Re: Did not see this happening today!
There was so much failure yesterday its hard to know where to start. But the band and cheerleaders did a great job. ;) If you've ever tried to stop an option attack you know how frustrating it can be when a 1-yard gain turns into four and two-yard gain becomes six, and for all the missed assignments...

Re: App Football 1937
Great watch - thanks for posting. One of the App players that season was the late great Marion Query from Concord, whose high school career was just honored last year. That was a great App team.

Re: Tommy Bowman article
I'm cautiously optimistic but really am not sure what to expect on the offensive side. I guess we will begin to see soon enough. It may be reasonable to expect some lag time for SS and the staff to get their execution down...none of these guys have been coached by him.
