Re: App State Golf
Who wants to educate me about women's collegiate golf??? I saw our tournament score and it was 316. 316 divided by 4 is a 79. I would think we should be able to land 4 women golfers that could break 79. Are they playing from the red tees??? I would think with title 9 all of our ladies are on schola...

Who do we miss: WCU, Furman, UTC, Elon, Wofford, Samford, Citadel? If you go to any of those venues this fall the answer will be a resounding no one.

Re: Portal season (Abson, Spillers, etc)
It's clear that NIL has not been the sole motivating factor for these departures. In terms of leaving for greener pastures, so far, only Spillers going to Wake fits that category. I assume Abson will make the jump to a higher level. It is a bit perplexing. I do understand that folks have their reas...

Re: Virginia law allows schools to pay athletes for NIL
At every turn we continue to push the cost of "higher" education higher. Jimmy - Why is tuition so expensive? Jimmy's Dad - Well Jimmy you see dorms rooms used to be cinder block rooms you shared with another person that had two common bathrooms/showers per floor, now it's an arms race for suite sty...

Losing the facility at any university in 2020-2024 could be a badge of honor. Let's just say from a thought perspective they aren't a diverse group.

Interesting view from someone who has insight into Everts' role in the Sun Belt: https://csnbbs.com/thread-989713-post-19565540.html#pid19565540 Did i ever see Thomas, borkowski or Wey at any athletic events...much less in the gravel stadium lot? People focus on the wrong stuff sometimes and assign...

Just under 50% of our two deep in 2024 will be transfers. That will be the new norm under the current structure, I predict that percentage to get higher actually. https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-chart/appalacian-state/92913 For QBs I'd put 4-5 offers out there on guys that w...

Basketball is likely just 1-2 years ahead of football, going to get weird next offseason if not regulated in some shape or form.

Re: Portal season (Abson, Spillers, etc)
Am I the only one that isn't going to pull for players when they leave App? I'm not rooting against them, but I don't feel any lingering ties to a player that transfer.
I'll caveat that with the exception of grad transfers.
