Re: App vs Asheville in Hickory
Tonight feels like a major loss on and off the court to be quite honest. This was a chance to get a lot of people interested in App basketball that aren’t usually and the team laid an egg. I would venture to say that this game was the either the first game for many people in attendance or the first ...

Re: App vs Asheville in Hickory
His mom was complaining at halftime that he barely got any looks essentially. I will say the ball movement was rough to watch in the first half. However, mantis also didn’t show any energy to get the ball. The whole team lacked energy and UNCA took it to our ass. We will need to be more consistent o...

Re: Season Ticket Renewals!
Parking passes will also be digital for 2024! Not a big fan of that move. Can't imagine a scenario digital will speed up the entrance to lots. Trading a wave for a scan, rescan, something's wrong, turn your phone around, move your car over here, call the office. Sorry. I've had zero issues with the...

Re: App vs Asheville in Hickory
There are some very bad teams in the Sun Belt. Ga Southern and Coastal specifically. We can’t afford to lose to any of them or our rankings will likely shoot down. App vs JMU will be the key games again.

Re: #TeamClark
If the college football playoffs are not governed by the NCAA who will force them to include any G5 teams? Is that based on what is believed to be a rule that the highest rated 6 conference champions get an automatic bid? If there are 4 P5 conferences are they really going to let in 2 G5 champs? Se...

Re: #TeamClark
My expectations every single season: 1: go undefeated and win the National Championship 2: play in the NY6 game 3: win the Sunbelt 4: play in and win a bowl game Number 1 is nearly impossible and as a reasonable and non-delusional fan I don't expect that. If we accomplish number 2 the 3rd is a give...

Re: 2024 Football Looking Ahead
These are 5 things I want, listed by importance. If we get 3 of these or more, I think a 10 win season is a reasonable expectation. 1. Coaching staff stay intact. We need a full offseason of no turnover at coordinator, S&C and key position groups. 2. Address holes in the secondary. This will be thro...

Re: Game Balls: Cure Bowl
Do you guys think that our coaches take attitude and work ethic into consideration? Not to assume that certain players have any attitude issue but maybe Castle simply worked his tail off and earned it. And I publicly take back my down the street comment. It would be stupid not to take that into acc...

Re: South Carolina State to open 2026 football schedule
This should be the OOC model for us going forward. 1 regional FCS, 1 regional P5, and 2 regional G5. As long as we have 1 P5, I would even be fine with 2 FCS.
Wins matter more than good efforts in the playoff era for G5 (see Liberty).

Re: "Make a play, get paid"
I think it's dumb and has nothing to do with how NIL was supposed to function. Which of course you could say about most NIL efforts now. What I WOULD like to see is bowl games offer financial incentives for players for participation. Seems like an obvious way to at least try and incentivize guys wh...

Re: Other SB schools losing players to Transfer Portal
We will need a new offensive line to win a championship. Losing three in the middle and the tackles struggling. I don’t know if we have what we need . It will be interesting what happens but we added Gentry and Scroggs last year in preparation for this. They will likely be the 2 new starting guards...

Re: NCAA Proposing New College Sub-division
Why have politicians NOT gotten involved.... federal and state money is used in ALL these schools. Are they being paid off? The politicians should be threatening the NCAA and the universities. Unfortunately, politicians are involved with the NCAA. Charlie Baker is a former health care CEO and Gover...
