Re: App State Golf

Who wants to educate me about women's collegiate golf??? I saw our tournament score and it was 316. 316 divided by 4 is a 79. I would think we should be able to land 4 women golfers that could break 79. Are they playing from the red tees??? I would think with title 9 all of our ladies are on schola...

Re: EXPANDING STADIUM TO 40k CAPACITY

It seems that any construction at KBS will happen after the 105 project (which is behind schedule and over budget) and the IPF (which seems to have its own funding issues) are completed. And of course all of these should be behind keeping Kearns (which should be our top priority). Rapid inflation h...

I hope we get a good one..but IF it’s a too far left or too far right leaning one I hope the student body and faculty en masse walks out. Wouldn’t that be something? Give the big ole finger to the legislature.
If it’s far left, the faculty will celebrate

Another way from Linville Take 105N to Shulls Mill Road, it should be open there, not sure though. Take Shulls Mill Road toward Blowing Rock (it's curvy). Exit Blue Ridge Parkway, north. Exit Bamboo Road to Boone. Just off the top of my head. There are other ways from Shulls Mill Road too. Foscoe h...

Keats was one game away from being let go this offseason two weeks ago.
If McConnell doesn’t hit that prayer banked buzzer beater 3 he was gone first round ACC tourney.
that was actually State's 4th game of the acc tourney (semi finals)

Watch Abson go to Wake Not near ACC caliber I just saw Spillers list that has reached out to him. Wake is the only better team out of about 8. Grass ain’t always greener. Where are you able to see schools that have reached out? https://x.com/jamieshaw5/status/1772722835980468576?s=46&t=UfUtPHfzYe5R...

App State Golf

Not sure who all knows about this, but our golf team is on the way to San Francisco to play in The Goodwin at TPC Harding Park. The historical course has hosted top pro tournaments in the past including the WGC – American Express Championship in 2005, The Presidents Cup in 2009 and The Charles Schwa...

Have heard rumored that Mantis is going too
Ugh, make it stop.
That would have been my #1 bet before any of the others. Go get Jack Gohlke!
Mantis belongs in D-II

We're in Section 123. We went with that section this morning prior to the email going out that recommended "App" sections as we wanted to be close to the floor (3rd Row.) I am going to wait and pay for parking when arrive and save the processing fee on that. I also see that some are planning to tai...

I was happy to watch NCSU win last night, but I imagine the following internal conversations happened after the game: NCSU fans - "YES! It took 37 years but we're finally ACC conference champs again and are going to the Dance!" Coach Keatts - "WHEW! Oh wait...I need to call Mayflower and tell them ...

Watched some of the Dayton v VCU game. What I noticed about that game and several mid majors in general is the packed arena and environment in general. They have that same atmosphere we had for the Auburn and JMU games all the time. It's a bit of a downer watching many of our games home and road wi...

First of all ESPN can shove it. All 4 picked JMU. Not the team that best them twice and won the regular season. Not the team with huge momentum. Whatever. Lunardi can eat a bag of dukes. March 9th 11:30am on espn +, it begins. Survive and advance. Take the stairs. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-...

This is by no means a dig to anyone who posts these rankings but to me it's like a meaningless pat on the head. Good job little guy but you aren't as good as some 6th place 16-12 power school who is 8-8 in their conference and beat up on a crappy non conference schedule. Like it or not, Sun Belt te...

No excuses from me. We have had a really good year. There have been glimmers of greatness in most games. BUT other than Auburn and maybe JMU we ain’t beat anyone. This game looked like most of the others, including the wins. We have been one “4 minute offensive drought” from losing many games . Eac...

They played fast, but I don't think they played fast enough to break the sound barrier. That crowd sure must be able to run though!
The Tennessee vs Kentucky game was more entertaining IMO.

Cozell McQueen's nickname was milk dud because he had a big, round growth on his shoulder (I assume since birth). His real claim to fame was making a clutch layup off a missed FT to force overtime against Pepperdine in the 1983 NCAA opening game. Up until that point of the contest, he had scored exa...

If shots start falling from Harcum and Mantis for a whole game I could see some blowouts. We are more than capable of doing that. And the one thing that clearly stands out is that this team finishes strong. agreed...we tend to get better as the game progresses. A product of good coaching and leader...
