Re: Depth Chart

Thanks OP. That really helps me to get to know the players and expected positions. The Noah Hannon guy is supposed to be real good. Is that right? Or was it someone else on the Oline? He is a stud but just lacks the size the NFL wants. Hannon is probably a top 10 center, just based on his play, in ...

LT is still a battle.
I just went with Garrison but it sounds like Anderson Hardy could be the guy. It will be interesting to see who is listed #1 in the game notes this week.

Re: Depth Chart

App State has not put one out yet but I would think they will any day now. I have no clue how the 2-deep would go for sure but I can guess at the starting lineups QB Zac Thomas RB Marcus Williams WR Malik Williams, Thomas Hennigan, Jalen Virgil TE Henry Pearson LT Cole Garrison LG Ryan Neuzil C Noa...

Re: Can anyone update us on Apps in the NFL

On there Blair, Kilgore, Fehr, Martin, Evans, AD-G, and Lamm were all projected to make cuts. I assume Middleton now as well. Keep in mind as well that ESPN projected cuts at the bottom are 50/50 in a normal year but there was much less seen by the media this year. I would really take them with a g...

Re: Let’s go red wolves

Did Arky State cover the spread? I know Tx St. did. I believe Memphis was favored by -18 so Arkansas State indeed did. I expected Memphis to win by 20 so the fact it was 13 is a good sign for ASU. We need to see more SBC vs AAC scores but early on it appears the SBC is much closer to the AAC than e...

Re: Let’s go red wolves

Arkansas State are who we thought they were. That big receiver (6’4”) of theirs dropped a wide open ball that would have put them 1st and goal on the 7. And then followed that up by getting beat for a jump ball by what looked like a 5’10” CB. I have to give them credit for a close first half. They ...

Re: Corey Sutton - Opting Out

I am not sure of his true reasons for opting out but the optics look like he lost his bid to be the starter. Seriously doubt he leaves if he gets that starting nod on a SEC team that can challenge for a National Title. Georgia isn't a depleted team like LSU is this year, they are stocked and ready ...

Re: Corey Sutton - Opting Out

Jamie Newman Opts out at UGA. If anyone thought Corey may want to go to a P5 to improve his position you may want to look at this article. Newman was a shoe-in to start at UGA and decided not to play out, even at a prime SEC school. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29795338/sources-...

Re: Biggest Football Heartbreak

The Packer & Durham show on ACC Network was discussing the Biggest Heartbreak Games in recent years for each ACC school. For UNC their loss to Clemson last year was the one they picked as Most Heartbreaking but the loss to Appalachian was also listed as a contender. This made me wonder what folks c...

Re: Biggest Football Heartbreak

Not necessarily a top heartbreaking loss, but one of notable frustration was the 1994 VMI OT loss at home (only win for VMI that season with 1-11 record) that possibly cost us a seeding and extra home game in the playoffs. We ended up losing to Boise St. in the 2nd round on the road by a field goal...

Re: Corey Sutton - Opting Out

We have two contributors that have opted out of the season. Who is the 2nd? I have heard, from a reliable friend that was on campus, that it is Raykwon Anderson. We may be deep at RB but Anderson is a very good player and any time you lose a RB it hurts depth big time because of the higher risk of ...

Re: Corey Sutton - Opting Out

To make this announcement, he has an agent. Clark talked like he would return in 2021, as AppSt94 said, but I would consider it 50/50 just because of the fact that agents are pushing these guys to come out. Sutton would not get drafted as of today and needs more film so I am hopeful he does the rig...

Re: 10 UCF players just opted out

Tay Gowan is the best player from what I can tell off the top of my head. I know he is a NFL prospect for sure. Losing 10 players is tough on the depth regardless though.
