The posters that complained about the criticism of the prior staff are the first ones to cast doubt on the new leaders. Are some overly positive, yes as we do lose 6 key players, but that is the fewest starters we have lost since maybe the 2004 season. I hope those posters don't look for the negativ...

The logic is pretty sound. If you lose 1M and get no exposure or lose 1M and get exposure, which one would you choose?

If the only reason programs wished to be in the FBS was to make money there would be about 20 teams there. Our athletic department doesn't make money now. If we can lose about the same about and actually get exposure (something our current tv "contract" does not provide that would be a positive move.

It was made public via goasu.com back in the spring. It showed that today App generates more revenue than over half of the Belt and more than one-third of the then CUSA members and that is without TV money and lower FBS game payouts. The numbers are available for your research if you look for them.

We have a great core of 15k fans at App. I think NDSU and Montana has a more faithful fanbase than we do. If App played NDSU in Frisco I'd wager they'd bring more fans.
