Our guys have to get aggressive this half. The Bobcats came out hustling and we didn't respond very well. A long road trip, zero atmosphere, and a fired up opponent can be a challenge.

this is gonna be a gritty game imo...having to travel all the way out to san marcos....3rd straight road game...i believe we win by 6 or so...get that 20th win then come home and play strong against toledo Again, only the Coastal games have been breathers. We really haven’t dominated any other conf...

It's not surprising that both teams are shooting poorly with the how physical this game is. Refs are letting a lot go.

It could be moved inside now.

That's good for a one off, but we still need to enclose the patios.

Re: App MBB vs Coastal, Saturday, Jan. 20, 4:30 p.m. ET, year two thousand and twenty four, Cure Bowl celebration game,

We really need to consider enclosing those entrances so people can stand inside to purchase tickets. That along with thenew parking deck would dramatically change the fan experience. It's crazy that fans are expected to pay a fee to buy online or stand out in the cold in a line with 20+ people to b...

4,500 for the stAte at Southern Miss game last night. 2,500 for our game. You can really hear those extra 2,000 fans. App has a better record, has that signature win. The students who come are great but where are the rest? We have enough students to fill up that arena twice over. Another 1,000 more...

Tough night at hlthe line for Abson, but he brings a lot to the game in other ways. The rest of the team shot 72% from FT line so not as bad as it seemed.

He was a prefered walk on at Texas.
He's listed as a signee for Texas on 247, and shows offers from Texas, Arkansas, Iowa State, NC State, Louisiana, UNT, Texas State, and UTSA. PWO's don't show as signees.

Re: G5 Over the Last 9 Years

With the portal and NIL looking back will be difficult going forward. The landscape has changed dramatically. If you aren’t a high recruit sign to a G5, prove your worth and chase the money. Smart thing to do. While there are examples of that, I don't think it's become that prevalent. I think more ...

Re: South Ally

Shew! Mantis was clutch with that 3 in OT! That was a good shot due to the selection. He didn't try to hit a shot while falling away or from five feet beyond the line. Still, he was 2-6 on the night and only 13-47 (28%) since the UNCW game, and that drops to 10-40 against D1 competition. He has to ...

The rush defense was much better after the guys got settled with the Star defense. We were giving up 208 YPG thru USM, but that dropped to 140 YPG for the last six games.

We're sitting at #22 in YPG and #27 in PPG this year. Both were a little higher before playing during a monsoon in Orlando. Not sure we need to change much.

Re: Where are we at as Appalachian football?

A lot of people expected us to win eight or nine games going into the year due to all of the new faces on both sides of the ball and on the sidelines. That was prior to losing Burger, White, McKnight, and Harrington prior to/early on this season. Credit to the coaches and players for making the nece...
