Re: UCF is Awesome! But what's the point......

There's a theory that if the playoffs were expanded then you'd see player talent spread around more and not so concentrated into just a few schools. So, if that happened you'd have more parity and less subjectivity, and in my opinion more excitement. I believe once they get comfortable with the cur...

Re: UCF is Awesome! But what's the point......

The top 4 format is fine, but it does offer too many chances for subjectivity. Historically, the Top 6-8 teams all have some credibility and could win on any given Saturday. No offense to Bama last year, but they got in on “merit” subjectively, and won the whole thing. I’m sure if the CFP was expan...

Re: UCF is Awesome! But what's the point......

Am I the only one that thinks the playoff is perfect at 4 teams? The CFP Committee has gotten 15 of the 16 teams right thus far (Ohio State in 2016 being the miss) and things generally play themselves out. This year will be no different. An undefeated UCF who's biggest win is Pitt or Cincy will neve...

Re: UCF is Awesome! But what's the point......

The only answer is for the G5 to have their own playoff. G5 is a second class citizen in the football world. I know there are some that say that would be looke on as JV to have a G5 playoff. In the scope, G5 is JV and will not get any higher or better under the current cartel like structure of P5 a...

Re: UCF is Awesome! But what's the point......

UCF has no business in the playoff and neither does any G5 school at this point. I happen to think that the playoff is perfect at 4 teams. A national Championship has to be exclusive and you lose some of that with expanding to 6 or especially 8 teams. The committee's goal is to get the 4 best teams ...

Re: App getting love on CFP 25

I saw that as I was waiting for the Troy/USA game, It was on ESPN2. Even Herbie mentioned that App should be considered as one of the top G5 teams along with Central FL and San Jose State. It was amazing to see Apps logo along with the others in discussions of the top 25 teams. Now just keep winnin...

I’m gonna predict that NC St, Miss St, Washington St, Colorado all lose. Plus I’ll predict Cincinnati gets upset.
Just saw where you did this for this past weekend's games, I thought I was being original haha! Oh well! Let's Go Neers!

Exciting Weekend

If we take care of business against LaLa this Saturday, and get some help, I think we have a real shot at breaking into the top 25. Several of the teams ahead of us have some really tough matchups this coming weekend. The games I'm going to keep an eye on are... (20) Cincinnati @ Temple (5) Michigan...

Re: Satterfield's contract extended!!!

Ive talked to a friend who has ties to the Ram's Club. He told me their boosters are so mad with their program right now, and ready to dump Fedora that they are going to pay his buyout after the season. Satt is #1 on their list unfortunately, and I'm told its all but a done deal. The Mountaineer in ...

Re: Raley trash - spots 70s-80s

I'm not ok with throwing cans on the ground. I'm totally ok with beer consumption games, table jumping, loud profane music, and general rowdiness. I was a Raley-tailgating student from 07-11. We did some rowdy stuff out there, but these kids are taking it up a notch and I'm happy they are. It's awe...
