Well this must seem awkward for Anderson given the timing and circumstances.

Re: UNCC game 12/11 5pm on ESPNU
Betting lines have been moving in Apps favor. UNCC was favored by 6 last night when I checked and this morning the line is now UNCC -4. UNCC lost to ECU, who is actually pretty good for their standards this year, and Georgia State who is a top 3 team in the Sun Belt in my opinion. We will need to R...

Re: UNCC game 12/11 5pm on ESPNU
The amount of energy and effort on offense in the second half was vastly improved versus the 1st half, but the team defense is what allowed us to win this game for sure. So proud!

Re: UNCC game 12/11 5pm on ESPNU
I’m really impressed for the most part with our interior defense and the number of blocked shots and active hands causing loose balls. Just wish we could hit some shots and close out better on their 3pt shooters.

Re: CCU not wanting to play Troy
I guess the CCU fan that had the “We want Bama” sign for most of the season needed to be more specific about which school in Alabama. Seriously, if you don’t want to take on Troy, you shouldn’t waste your time calling on the Crimson Tide.

Re: CCU not wanting to play Troy
But they want to preserve there 0 in the loss column to remain eligible for NY6. They want to skip a game that should have been played and does have meaning all because ULL has the equivalent of a bye this week because their schedule played out a different way. Sounds weak to me

CCU not wanting to play Troy
I can’t understand their mentality. You play the schedule your dealt any other season, even if the last game or 2 does not change your place in the league standings. Sounds like they are getting into their own heads about how well they will be able to compete against ULL in the conference championsh...

Re: No surprise here: ULM Coach fired
COVID related financial impacts may force their hand to move down. In the event that were to happen to ULM, who would you like to see fill their spot. Political and religious affiliations aside, would you guys see Liberty as an appealing replacement? They definitely had the money prior to the pandem...

No surprise here: ULM Coach fired
Wonder who ULM will consider for the position? I’m sure some of you would give Petersen a good reference. Of course I’m kidding

Re: College Gameday to Coastal
Coastal reminds me of how we used to look. They are confident and having fun. McCall wanted to come to App but Drink wanted the guy from California who was never gonna be happy in Boone. We missed out big time on this guy. He is good. The energy and mood is noticeable isn’t it? They look like they’...

It might not be on national tv, but Marshall is choking right now against Rice. Reminds me of that blemish on a perfect season we had last year.

It is rather weird when looking at the stats. I wonder if far hash kicks in close are a weakness for him since the farther back he is the better his FG %.

Re: Key to understanding this season
I looked into the kicking stats for you Yosef69 and Staton is 6th in the Sunbelt this season. His FG % has decreased with each year, but surprisingly his accuracy near the end of his range is better than closer attempts over his career. Critcher was 70% in his lone season attempting field goals prio...

Re: Key to understanding this season
I hate that a segment of our fan base can’t accept criticism. We are not a good football team this year. But we have good players. I’m afraid our OC is in wayyyyy over his head. He’s not good. Our red zone scoring is abysmal. We should have blown ULL out last night with the gifts they were handing ...

PFF OL Rankings
Not sure a lot of people will agree with this, but our OL must be grading well this season to be top 10. Reading the comments of the thread and a lot of Bama fans are butt hurt by their ranking. Somebody needs to tell them they will not always be 1st in everything. https://twitter.com/PFF_College/st...

Re: Liberty at CCU
I’d give the edge to CCU under the circumstances being that they are the home team and all. BYU has not played in 2 weeks and may have some rust along with trying to manage game prep and travel on short notice. This is worse than whoever wins the Sunbelt having to play in the New Orleans Bowl which ...

Re: Clark Weekly Press Conf - Pre ULLLLLLLL 11/30
Watching Nate Noel during the Troy game I thought to myself, this guy is running like Chip Hooks did back during my school days. Wouldn’t you know it, Coach Clark used the same comparison in his presser. We have really been blessed as a program with running backs over the many decades.

Re: No Sunbelt Championship in 2020
I grew up on Duke basketball since my dad was an alum. I learned a long time ago that even successful programs need some good fortune to win and some years it just doesn’t happen regardless of what the team does. This year has been especially challenging with coaching changes and injuries. Regardle...
