Re: Brian Quick signed by LA Rams to 1 yr deal
Gents you are taking comments totally out of context. Quick was referring to having to learn a route tree...something that very few college teams prepare receivers for. He was not coached to play in the NFL in college or know what a route tree even was. The same goes for Cam Newton when Gruden was asking him for plays. Brian didnt mean to belittle App. The interviewer was also commenting on App being a "small school" and he said " I can't help where I'm from"...He did not know how to respond and the interviewer put him on the defensive. Not the first young man to be unprepared to talk to the media either.

#1: Dropped touchdown pass in the '09 semi-final game as time expired vs. Montana.
Brian had a great career, but his 'hands of stone' were on full display that day. It cost Armanti his final game, and one last trip to the championship game.
Seriously? That's your #1 memory? What a sad life you must live. How about in addition to the countless great catches he made, his block of a FG at Michigan without which we likely may not have won?
That drop at Montana was in a blizzard. I blame the play calling for that loss. They should have left the ball in Armanti hands and had him run it. Too many things can go wrong throwing in those conditions. You try laying out and trying to catch a football as cold as it was up there that day.
