With Sproles out against the Eagles on Monday night, Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram getting the bulk of the work, and Chris Ivory should get some snaps for the first time all season. Triplett writes that WR/RB Travaris Cadet could possibly see time as Sproles' replacement, which was the case during preseason, but he's yet to register an offensive touch all season and has dressed for just four games.

Replaced on kickoff return after the fumble and then criticized for his route run on the previous play that resulted in Brees turning it over. Likely done for the evening.

No he still played, just not returning kicks. He should have also returned the next kick, that decision did more harm than good. It was a bad coaching call. Romper Room coaching. Yeah he fumbled, so what? They all do. The odds of him fumbling the next kick were pretty much zero. You have to show faith in your players after they make a mistake.
