There's a reason Bubba didn't consider Belichick before he was outmanuevered by the Chapel Hill BOT and UNC BOG.
Exactly. There are a lot of issues with Bill. Imagine how bad it has to be for NFL teams to avoid hiring Bill in two cycles. His age is not even a top 5 reason. We saw Pete Carroll get hired and they are the same age.
He is not even a great coach.
Really good defensive coach and pretty good head coach but carried to look even better by a great staff and Tom Brady. As a GM, Bill made a lot of bad moves in free agency and was awful in the NFL Draft.

I believe he had a losing record without Brady.

Getting a PR firm involved to help with promotion of both BB’s new book and the team makes sense. Because those are absolutely, positively the only two reasons UNC is making this move. It has nothing to do with Hudson at all. :D

Interesting article on what Belichick’s been up to at UNC:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... eover-2025

Tarheel football was a mess when Mack ran it, but it sounds like the program has been a Grade-A goat rodeo since BB rolled into town. While no one knows how the Heels will do this season, it should be entertaining.

Belichick is the G.O.A.T., but after that first loss she, Hudson, will be the Goat.
No. Tom Brady is the GOAT.

Wonder if she has a sideline pass...to give Billy a kiss after every TD, FG and turnover 😂

I saw a tweet that said the score in the 3rd quarter is starting to look like the age gap

And not by 2-3 games. It was bad. He also brought Lombardi with him to UNC and that move alone told me that he is going to have trouble at UNC. Even with what we saw last night they should still win 7-8 games because the schedule is so easy.

Brett McMurphy posted that the backup QB, Johnson was the same age as Bill's girlfriend.

Just saw a post where Hudson was entering the portal. It's a great time to be alive.

I doubt that, going to be really hard for her to find a better NIL deal than the one she has with Bill.

Looking back on last night, the question that pops into my mind is, “did we really think BB would take over at UNC and immediately set the world on fire?

Reading that ESPN article shows how much of a mess things were after he was hired. For a minute, let’s forget about the girlfriend drama. What HC comes in and summarily fires nearly everyone (without a backfill plan), then scrambles to get anything done because nobody’s left to carry the water?

You sense BB and Lombardi immediately canned the remaining staffers because they were more concerned about leaks to the press than they were about having some framework (regardless of how flimsy) to continue operations while they backfilled staff positions.

As the sage once observed, “Bill, your brought that $h*t on yourself.”
