Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?
Say Duke beats UVA and both JMU and Tulane win big in their title games. Could 2 G6 teams get in the playoff and ACC be left out? I would think so.

Just stopped by to say that JCline would be proud of this clickbait thread.

Probably not. The 5 highest ranked conference champs get auto bids. So assuming Tulane wins they would get 5th bid. That in my opinion opens door up for a Vandy, Texas, Utah or any other top 25 2-3 loss non conference champ. But stranger things have happened.

Honestly don’t think either should make it.
Miami should be the ACC rep.
Duke is 7-5 and lost to 2 G5 teams.
If UVA beats Duke, cool…you beat an average team.
ACC might be worse than the American this year.
This is probably the last season or two of the “Top 5 conference champions”.
I remember saying, what happened when the ACC has a 5 loss winner a few years back.

Agree that Miami should get a bid if an ACC is required to get a bid. UVA had a relatively easy nonconference schedule. Miami played ND and Florida (even if a down year fur Florida)

They won’t be the ACC champ. It says 5 highest rated conference champs.

UVA is much better than you are giving them credit for and all they can do is play the teams on their schedule.311neers wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 7:29 amHonestly don’t think either should make it.

They aren’t going to put two G5 schools in. They hasn’t been projected by anyone anywhereAppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 8:14 amThey won’t be the ACC champ. It says 5 highest rated conference champs.
