Regardless of how the teams got there I got to watch 2 great games. Got to see some great individual performances and a ton of passion for the game. And how about TCU, 12,000 students and not only competing at the highest level, winning at the highest level. Either way this ends it’s a great story, TCU comes from nowhere to win it all or walk on underdog Stetson Bennet gets his 2nd National championship. You guys who are complaining about it need to just let yourself enjoy something.

If the current college football playoff were a true playoff instead of an invitational tournament The Ohio State and TCU would not be in it. How can you justify two teams that did not even win their conference championship be in a playoff?

16 teams, conference champions, conference champion runner up from power five and Notre Dame.

You say that TCU shouldn't be in a playoff and then propose a scenario where TCU makes the playoff having been runner-up in the Big 12.
