Don't know..I don't think he liked it down there but you never know.sixtoes9134 wrote:How so?
You think FIU would come after SS?
Cristobal is an oline coach though
Re: Look's like Cristobal was fired at FIU
Would only think Satterfield would consider FIU if someone else was named HC here. A lot of the FIU fans did not seem to think a lot of SS (both fans) when he left, but with SS there they went to their only two bowl games, winning the first one. FIU only won 3 games this year. Seem like they thought their SS ran the ball too much. Funny that they would win three games this year after recruiting something like 19 players that were are least 3 stars this year.
Wish we could work it out to have 2 HC with Elliott and Satterfield both being HC. Know that would never work but sure would be great to get the two roommates back together again. Those two could do some real damage together in the FBS IF we ever get and take an offer.

Had the same thought about maybe SS being in the HC mix down there.
That said - and you may laugh - but the level of Head Coaches in the Sun Belt is pretty damn high right now. Several, of course, have (Malzahn) or will (Taggart) leave this season. Both of those guys were assistants at very good BCS programs - so I don't think that SS's 2 years at FIU will help him that much...I'm betting they go after a name who wants to coach again, or a decent BCS assistant...especially with their pending move to CUSA.

I don't think Scott liked living in South Florida, and I would imagine FIU is going to look for a completely fresh start.
