17-17 now.
Damn shame about last week as I think App would have matched up really well against EWU. And with Montana State losing last night, could have been hosting Sam Houston State in a semifinal.

You don't know how many times I've replayed this scenario in my head.RankinApp wrote:17-17 now.

Re: ILLINOIS STATE LEADING EASTERN WASHINGTON
NDSU has to be the favorite of the teams remaining. They kept Wofford scoreless on offense, and I expect them to handle Georgia Southern much like last year as well.
Scary though - apparently the Bison will be returning nearly everyone on this years squad. Could seriously put ASU's three-peat in jeopardy of having company. Whatever Coach Bohl is doing up there in Fargo, I wish he'd bottle it and send some it down here.

What makes me cry is the thought of either NDSU or GSU playing for a national title. Ick. Ack. Yuck. Phooey.cbarrier90 wrote:

There's not a single team or fan base of the remaining group I particularly care for. It really sucks.

I was pulling for ODU.

Do you think Cobb would have forced Coach Moore out last Sunday even if we HAD beaten Illinois State?RankinApp wrote:17-17 now.

You know, FBS-style. Not uncommon in the FBS for a head coach to be fired before the bowl game.
(By the way, I am not anti-FBS)

No, because he didn't force him out and the season wouldn't have been over.sonsofyosef wrote:Do you think Cobb would have forced Coach Moore out last Sunday even if we HAD beaten Illinois State?RankinApp wrote:17-17 now.

The Gnats will beat NDSU.- imoViewCrew87 wrote:Gotta pull for I.S. BIG veteran O-line and QB.
ODU had a really good looking passing game and dynamite recieving corps. ODU coach blew a late go for it on fourth down on his 40 and the Gnats rolled them. Obvioius at the time he should have punted with a 7 point lead, what was he thinking. Glad ODU is moving on, if we are forced into staying FCS.
Wofford had their chances to win in the Fargo Dome, but just couldn't get it done.
