We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Tubberville left recruits during the salad course
I know it's Lubbock, but it's also a school in a conference that will be playing for their version of a National Title. To leave that for a school that is going to be in the Group of Five fighting for one spot makes no sense, unless Texas Tech is about to take a downturn that only he could see.

Being a Tech Alum and living in West Texas I am seeing a lot about this move right now. I posted a link to a blog post on the Tech Scout board the other day in the thread about Jerry taking the Tech job. Basically the blog said that Tuberville was feeling heat and that next year would probably be his last unless he had a great year, and the odds of that are not looking good.rbarthle17 wrote:I know it's Lubbock, but it's also a school in a conference that will be playing for their version of a National Title. The Tech fan base was very split on Tuberville. He came in after a VERY popular coach who had defined the place over the last few year was let go in a very circumspect manner over charges that later proved to be mostly fabricated. It was the Good Ol' Boy network in action.
I can say this about Tuberville that I thought I would never say: "He really has united the Tech fan base in a way I thought he never could, because he is now so universally hated."
Saw this on a Tech fan board: SEC > Big 12 > Big East. Notice a pattern here?
