I saw this video on Yahoo yesterday. It is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. I have an 8 year old son (yes, despite my advanced age) so watching that boy run with the Husker players jogging beside him brought a HUGE smile to my face. I can only imagine how exciting that was for a 7 year old.
Yes...sports DO matter...and art. We might over value these things at time, but they certainly have an important role in our society.
