I hope so - we have a chance to knock them off - I think Howell will leave as someone said earlier, he can't take another year of the kind of beating he's taken this season

He should absolutely leave. This upcoming draft class is atrocious. Probably the only year a guy like Howell would be considered a first rounder. The 2023 class may be stacked for all we know. He’d have to win 10+ games next season to increase his draft stock from where it is now.

They have got to figure out that defense. Offense scores a ton of points but they give up like 30-40 every week.

If you guys didn't get to see the 4th Q and OTs of the Bama-Auburn game you missed a classic - After that, I say The Tide is in the Final 4 win or lose against UGA (unless they get blown out)

I don't know. I think it may have hurt their chances going OT with a 6-5 team. I do realize it was the iron bowl though. 2 loss Bama should not be in final 4. Just my opinion. But I don't like Bama

With the UTSA score I don't think it was all that unlikely of an upset.

La beat Monroe 21-16. The same Monroe team we stomped by 31. I wonder if the La message board “experts “ are bitching and moaning about their play calling and are worried about how badly App is gonna beat them?

I have to admit to reading their message board here and there this fall. Their fans as a group have gone from thinking they hired the second coming as a coach to wondering if they can pawn him off on someone else. Their transition to the P6 /s AAC is going to be interesting. Even a weakened AAC is going to be a bit of a step up from the current CUSA, so they will need to improve play just to hold steady in win percentage.
How many years are they given to be a "new" team?

I will say, they have a small, vocal group that are wildly dedicated. Sort of annoying and a little delusional, but they’re loyal. Which is what they need.
That small, loyal group also basically willed that team into existence. So I’m willing to give them a bit of a pass on hoping/believing more will happen.
I mean, if you can create a football program from thin air, why not believe all the other crazy stuff some of them spout?
We also play them enough in this next decade that they will probably get us once or twice. Boy that’ll be an interesting game thread.
