According to pete Thamel Taylor Lamb will be the next OC for UVA. Congrats to him!! Very Impressive after only 1 year as Gardner Webb's OC.

QB coach, not OC. Still a big step up and a great sign for Taylor.

Stepping into a GREAT situation with an excellent and experienced QB in Armstrong. He could quickly parlay this into an OC job elsewhere.

When he graduated I said and still believe he will be head coach at App one day.

He may rise too quickly, at this pace. We may not be able to afford him, if/once we're in need. Good for him. New babies are EXPENSIVE!!

Yup, and the expenses only go up for the next 18-22 years. But Taylor will be alright, very pleased to see him succeeding.

Found the connection: Taylor’s father hired Tony Elliott as WR coach in 2008.

“Lamb is the son of former Furman head coach Bobby Lamb, who previously hired new UVA head coach Tony Elliott as wide receivers coach from 2008-2010.”
