Well, what was already a must win, is now an absolute 1000% must win game for Clark.

There’s rock bottom and there’s the seventh layer of hell in Hattiesburg right now. Crazy to see how far a program with that history has fallen. 30+ wins over SEC teams in their past. Damn shame.

Some folks here have absolutely reached a new level of paranoia. They are watching a dreadful team in Hattiesburg and already fast forwarding to our game and calling it a MUST win. One game at a time and just relax.

The next two are must wins looking at the schedule, this isn't surprising to anyone I hope.

Yes, losing to JMU is fine and won’t get you fired. Losing to ODU/USM might- thus, must win.

Do you want of have a real conversation about this? Not sure, or just trying to be funny.

It depends on your stated goal.

If the goal is to win the SBC who can define every remaining game as a must win.

If your goal is to remain the head coach of this program the team needs to win 4 of the next 6 games.

If the latter I'd put arguably the two easiest games left of the six as must wins.

You are correct though, 1-0 each week. The focus is on ODU. But, one can feel the pressure building now for the USM game because they just got absolutely destroyed. What happened at Southern Miss? Thought they would be an okay team this year.

It bears mentioning that South Al came into yesterday's game 3-3. Granted, two of those losses were to JMU and Tulane, and they also shellacked Oklahoma State and ULM, but they also had a loss to a mediocre Central Michigan team.

It's not too late to round into form.

Their offensive line looks pretty good, that is an area we're going to have to improve down the stretch to be the team we strive to be.
