It's either Arkansas State or Louisiana-Lafayette. Either way, the Sun Belt is losing one of its premier programs.

The MAC is the only conference that has an opening (uneven divisions) and their opening would be football only unless U Mass is about to join for all-sports and I haven't heard any rumors regarding that.

I have no sources so I'm not trying to discredit the rumor, but, that just doesn't sound like it would work. Where would they put the rest of their sports? the MVC or Summit?

I think I saw last night that CUSA is at 11 once Tulsa joins.

Correct and that hole would be filled by Western Kentucky taking their spot in CUSA. Unless the CUSA added three teams.

Yeah. The rumor doesn't say where this second team would go (assuming WKU to CUSA). If it is to the MAC, you would have to suspect it's Arkansas State. If CUSA is taking two from the SBC and maybe one from another conference, then I would suspect it's ULL. Wait and see...we're good at that around here. :D
