Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
He was a headache to moderate when I was running the board way back when. But never once did I doubt his passion for our university. I hope his passing was as easy as is possible. Prayers to his family.

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
RIP, NewApp
Based on the comments here and on his obituary, it seems like he had an impact on a lot of people. That’s what it’s all about.
It is funny to me that, although I never met him in person, the picture in his obituary is exactly what I expected. That’s not meant as an insult.

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
ya'll are certainly being gracious, which is good, although it reflects poorly on me. Was not a fan of his constant posts that had nothing to do with App, and his baiting. But to a fellow Mountaineer, RIP.

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
I had several off-line conversations with him as we both were on the Board for many years and being the same age we had experienced and lived thru some huge changing times for our world - he was an OK Guy - I was very sorry to read the news

Just to clarify, it seems his daughter in law passed of ALS, she did not kill him.

I did think that when it was first posted though. I'm thinking that is a hell of a way to go out, by the daughter in law.

Re: Where is NewApp, aka JCline?
Everybody messing with him back on that old forum was priceless. He loved the rage-baiting it seemed.

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
Seems MrCraig was the only one paying attention in NewApp class. I tribute posted the above quote (One of my NewApp Favorites) it's from Cline himself last year. One of the few I actually thought was funny at the time. It seemed fitting for this moment and I thought would have been his style message in this type of bad news thread. RIP Brother

Somebody call Gillin and make sure they’ve got something suitable planned to honor NewApp during the Coastal game.

Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes
Never good news when an App family member passes.
Those old Delphi forum days were something else. Back when we were rising and everyone was excited, he had a way of "stimulating" the conversation. I used to log in sometimes to just to see what he came up with that day.
Didn't agree with him all (or even most of) the time but he was very passionate about all things App State. His dedication to these boards and App was admirable. May he rest in Peace.
