App Memorabilia

Unread post by appdaze » Thu Jun 24, 2021 9:45 pm

From time to time I peruse the memorabilia/card sections of websites to see what is out there. It will be really cool to one day see some high priced cards. Most of them are a couple of bucks.

So as we are nearing the season and seeing the furniture in the other thread also got me thinking.......'

What is the coolest piece of memorabilia that you have and do you have a picture for us?

Just a few websites to see what I meant by our card values.

This guy makes awesome Tolkien inspired maps. I've got the NC one and yes he included Boone. I'm not sure I would have picked one up otherwise.

I have a few cool things. Probably the most valuable is a TB Bucs helmet signed by HOF’s John Lynch and Tony Dungy, along with Mike Alstott, Hardy Nickerson and Trent Dilfer. I’ve got cards as well. Of those, 57 Warren Spahn and a 59 Hank Aaron.

I have a few prized pieces. One being a Michael Jordan rookie Star card that he signed for me at a golf tournament back in the day in Cary, NC as well as a poster that included Sam Perkins and Terry Gannon. I also have a complete 1975 Topps set that includes the rookie cards of George Brett and Robin Yount. In addition I have a signed Sports Illustrated by George Brett where the cover story commemorates his 3,000th hit and a signed ball from the 1985 World Series. And probably like many others, I have tons of tickets from sporting events and other concerts and special occasions that represent special memories.

My daughter starts two weeks from today! This was the first thing that she said was hanging in her dorm! Along with a plunger! Yes! It was her grandfathers bought in 68 and hung in his dorm starting in 70.

I have a man cave full of stuff. Guess the signed game helmet by Coach Moore and game worn jersey would be the highlights. A few framed poster/pics of the stadium as well.
