UNC gear in Boone
Sure will be nice if Boone can ever get enough App fans that these stores don't sell anymore UNC gear.

It would be nice if Appalachian could get a medical school so we don’t have to have UNC Health signage in our stadia.

Re: UNC gear in Boone
You must remember that there are still some App State students that believe they should be going to UNC-Ch and are only in Boone, because someone made a mistake. Most people grow up believing that there is only one conference and four universities in the state of North Carolina. If you only went to one of those four schools you would probably believe that too.

I have never met anyone that graduated from App that hated it. If you do not like being in Boone, you leave.

Ehh, panties not in a wad. Just a random thought after seeing unc gear on an App gear stand in Boone. It would be nice if these businesses could sell enough App gear that selling much of the other schools stuff wasn't necessary.

App gear is more visible than ever before. I don’t mind sharing space with a weaker sister school.

Re: UNC gear in Boone
Guys. UNC is the flagship university in the state and one of the biggest athletic brands in the nation. Their merch is going to be for sale all over the state and beyond, and that isn't going to change. Same for Duke, although people don't seem to get as offended by that for some reason. I promise you that stores in Raleigh don't exclusively sell NC State merch.
If you want to see App's brand grow, I'd worry less about other schools' stuff selling in Boone and pay more attention to seeing App stuff for sale beyond the High Country.
