I'm sure everyone has heard about the Harlem Shake that everyone is doing lately... Well the students at APP made one and are wanting as many views as possible... They did a great job!!

No offense but this is retarded, and i'm a young alum just out of college.

Well.... There have been lots of idiotic acts through the years that are popular in the moment.... But if you've watched Jimmy Fallon or Chelsea Latley or several other shows lately ... Or looked on YouTube it's pretty popular right now. I thought the same the first time I saw one and wondered wtf!! Then I searched it online and there are TONS of those videos... And I think APPs is the best one ive seen. I promoted it only because of that, they are asking for all the hits they can get, and I thought it was cool that much work and that many kids showed up for it....
They aren't trying to win any awards... Just having fun on a cold Boone day...

Does the origins of the trend make any sense? No.

But it's harmless fun. How often do you see Gumby with a horse in a headlock right in front of a gorilla in a tree?

Things like this, our football games' student turnout and the Osama riot/parade are what lead me to believe that App State has the highest per-capita school spirit in North Carolina.
