Both teams are a run first option on offense. Lamb is a better passer than Dobbs has proven to be. Hurd is a beast, so we will need to figure out a way to contain him and leave it up to Dobbs to win the game. Our O-line is good enough to give Lamb time, the question is can our WR's get open quick enough for him to get the ball to them. We will see. I know what Satt said in comparing this years UT squad to last years Clemson team. They may be that good but they haven't proven it yet. The pressure is on them to a) live up to the hype, and b) to close out a ball game. We are a team that their fan base feels they should beat handily. I don't expect the players to carry that same bravado, but they are going to feel the pressure. If we can hang around until the 4th Qtr., then doubt may creep in from the demons of past blown leads. I like our chances to make it a game for 3 + quarters and then we will see how good Tenn. is.

We can not allow big returns from the preseason All-Americans Berry and Sutton.

The OL, especially the left side is really going to have their work cut out for them. I think Apps D will hold up okay and will press the line of scrimmage and make Dobbs pass the ball if possible. App must contain him and not allow him to escape for big yardage and first downs. If App can move the ball on the ground and shorten the game then it's a game, if not the defense will be on the field way too much to hold up for 4 quarters.
