Has the SBC been to Boone?
Does anyone have any factual information as to whether or not the Sunbelt leadership has visited App. State? I would think that they would want to tour campus and our athletic facilities before they would consider offering an invite. I know our administration has been tight lipped about the subject, but I would think someone out there would know if the Sunbelt has been to Boone.

Actually that's not the way it works. While I can't confirm a visit, I can say that the pattern is that when a conference want to deal face to face with a candidate, it is usually after a verbal committment has been accepted. All the information on the campus is available on the internet and in information packets that are sent to conferences by potential members. In other words, the visit is a formality except for a meeting to iron out last details that is much more important than a facility visit.
