Regarding GATA, I'm pretty sure that was a phrase brought to Stink by Erk Russell.

If I remember correctly, it was introduced by Erk Russell and originated based on some stenciling on chairs at Georgia Tech when Georgia played there. Rather than standing for Georgia Tech Athletics, he made up his own acronym.....or so the story goes.
