My only question, Saint, is how many tickets will App be allotted? We might not even get 1,000 in that stadium, right?

That is true, but if we send back any tickets I will be disappointed.

Montana and App are two of the all-time FCS greats and their stadium is arguably the best gameday environment at this level. If we can take 4k to places like Michigan, Florida, LSU, etc. we should be able to take 1,000 to Montana on labor day weekend.

The expense of the flights might be the big issue for some...unless you get a deal into Butte or Spokane. Otherwise - you're looking at $400-$600 R/T.

That said - my desire to see that part of the world, as well as Missoula, and the gameday atmosphere at Wash-Griz are about even in my reasons for going. You take 1 vacation day, and you can spend Thursday night thru Monday morning in one of the most beautiful parts of the country AND see your team play! Can't beat that.

I'll be there with at least my better half and likely a larger group. I would be disappointed and very surprised if we sent any back. I think we'll sell our allotment and then some in the after market.

glad to hear I can probably get it through the ticket office. It looks like Butte is probably the airport to fly into and get a rent-a-car.

If not flying directly into Missoula, I would also consider Spokane, WA as Southwest flies there. Spokane is approximately 3 hours from Missoula.

We're flying Delta out of Charlotte to Salt Lake to Butte; $280 round trip plus $25 bag charge each way.

Maybe you should only take enough to pack a few bowls then. Sorry I couldn't help myself, I was just joking.

Learned a little something about this flight. I am on the same flight and it was $100 more that that. If you search after someone else the price will increase. If it is higher, wait an hour and then come back to it.

I believe all of the allotted tickets are in Sec 102. Here's a map in case anyone is wondering where they're at:

We're in 111, row 9. Looks like our view of the game will be low and a little "cornered". At least we'll be able to see App score up close for two quarters. Hopefully, we won't see any Griz scores up close the other two. :D I can't wait to get to Missoula!
