Maybe this year I won't have to keep screaming for us to involve tight ends

The play action calls have been nice. The offensive line is struggling a little bit, but nothing I don't think a nice toughness talk can't cure.

Not a big fan of seeing the same conservative offense that limited us last year. We cut our teeth on being an innovative and explosive offense for so many years. We have guys who can make plays, let's see unique ways of using them.

These quick screens by GW are giving me flashbacks of the Miami home game. Glad the quarter ended to slow it down

Have to run block better. Get nasty boys! The run game will help Burger and alleviate pressure on him in the passing game.

I sometimes wonder why more teams don't use that approach. Almost a guaranteed 5 yards a play

Its easy to get caught up on schemes and play calling...but the reality is...shawn clark hasnt recruited any good players the entire time hes beem here. We just dont have any talent. Play calling/schemes wont be able to save us...hell....clark couldnt do anything with the incredible talent that was handed to him

I hope some magic happens soon. This is feeling like a continuation of last year with a less explosive QB. I'm worried...

3rd and 13 and we run it up the middle. Did we learn anything from last year?

Still slow and small. Same scheme for 10+ years, might be time to switch it up.

I was hoping for different. But my answer to this question would be No

Without overreacting like some will, this is a good statement. Last year showed me that Clark just isn't that guy. We have some players, but we lack that "App Culture" that we all hoped the Clark hire would rekindle. That "App culture" was the x-factor that made lesser recruits overachieve. It's what allowed App to always play better on the field than on paper. Just not seeing that lately. We look mediocre at best. Yes, it's the first game in a relatively turned over roster. But we are playing a 1AA. Our mediocre should be better than their best.

Surprised we’ve lost the field position battle last two drives.
