Gardner Webb seems to be struggling out of the gate despite the high praise received during this thread. Won in the closing seconds versus Elon and lost in the last minute versus Tenn. St.

Its not their offense that is responsible for the losses. The QB is averaging 200+ yds passing and Gaither is averaging 100+ yards on the ground per game. They recently lost to the Tenn State team that lost to Notre Dame 56-3. They are giving up over 30 points a game.

Pregame I made the point that while they return 10 starters on defense they historically weren't good versus FCS teams last year, looks like that is holding true.
