Re: Injuries
I do not. WRH was not in my high school's conference. But people that followed sports knew WRH and East Duplin for their style of play.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 3:56 pmremember Jimmy Jerome?BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 8:01 pmSame high school as Javonte Williams. Re: Injuries
If you are referring to his donate $10 comment, I took that as a tongue in cheek about NIL but also as a comment of how much he appreciates Joey and his value to the team.

Noel .I don't see him making in the NFL.t4pizza wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 4:03 pmAre you asking about Nate or Kanye? I would say no on both at this point in time but Kanye may very well be by the time he is finished. Kanye has greatly improved in the non running aspects (blocking, receiving, etc) of being a running back and I expect he will continue to improve as his career progresses. Kanye could end up being better than D. Evans but he isn't now.

Re: Injuries
I believe that there are 2 different collectives. One of them requires a $10k buy in. Not sure about the other one.Rekdiver wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:19 pmIs there a NIL collective to donate to at App?AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 6:39 pmIf you are referring to his donate $10 comment, I took that as a tongue in cheek about NIL but also as a comment of how much he appreciates Joey and his value to the team.

Re: Injuries
Somebody needs to tell these folks running the App NIL sites: make it easy for people to donate, aka, put the “donate now” button at the top of the page. I can’t even believe I have to say this.appfanz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 10:22 pm3333collective. They are trying to get set up to accept donations in various ways. Either that, or the folks running these are the same “inner circle” meatballs that don’t want more donors because it might limit their access/importance.

Re: Injuries
So boosters can just contribute money to a collective and whoever is in charge can dole out money to athletes? If an App football player does a radio spot for a local car wash who pays him?

Re: Injuries
The collective can also work with businesses to connect them with players. I would assume any endorsements would be paid for by the company that receives the endorsement.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 10:36 amSo boosters can just contribute money to a collective and whoever is in charge can dole out money to athletes? Re: Injuries
Last I heard was the base premise was to connect business (s) to athletes - its ever evolving, I imagine its a hybrid type thing where if its a particular star where money would be high, then its about connections, but if a collective wanted to donate money to say the track programs or other teams as a whole then a pool of money might be collected and distributed evenly? I will say the sites are vague and you have to try and dig in deeper to understand what can be done, its not very open with what the process is and how it works.hapapp wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 11:25 amThe collective can also work with businesses to connect them with players. Here's a start. There's a form to ask questions. I'm sure Sarah Strickland and Doug Middleton can answer questions about NIL.
