Just like appst89 I'm irritated by it. I seen a commercial of him this morning which reminded me of this that's why I asked and I kept thinking how many other times has he done that?

I'm with you on this. I used to really like and respect his work, now I wonder if he is just a fraud or if this was just an aberration and he didn't realize something from the depths of his memory that he read years before. Either way, I presume the former without an explanation to prove the latter.swva appfan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 7:40 pmJust like appst89 I'm irritated by it. Maybe Ryan McGee should stick to plagiarizing because he made a huge goof about GA Southern’s QB. Go to the section labeled “Best Comeback of a Different Sort”

Bro, of course they're not going to respond to your email. You're just some random dude to them; they probably field 50 emails a month from people making similar claims. The difference is, your claims of plagiarism are 100% valid.t4pizza wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:37 amI got this response back from ESPN today. Doubt it goes anywhere but again, the plagiarism is just too much.

OTOH, you could go to the press (not ABC) and/or engage an attorney. The attorney will not only send a letter threatening to file suit, they will know exactly how to get it to ESPN's in-house counsel...which is half the battle.

Re: Deeper than Hate ESPN Write-up
Pretty sure that I couldn't sue them for that under any circumstance so my engaging a lawyer would do nothing since I have no legal right to sue because it wasn't my work that was plagiarized. Now, TDog has that right since it was his work that was plagiarized, but not sure he wants the expense of retaining legal counsel. I was just trying to let ESPN know, I did that and they did nothing. Now, in the future, should anyone else go after ESPN because of Mr. McGhee's writing, any decent lawyer will see in the voluminous discovery process that in fact these concerns have been previously brought to their attention and nothing was done about it.Bootsy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 6:48 pmBro, of course they're not going to respond to your email.
