Kentucky >>>>>>>>> than NC State.
And they would never play us in Boone or Lexington. Take my word for it.

Re: NC State series in danger?
It is my opinion that, just like South Carolina, NC State will never set foot on the turf at KBS. I hope I am wrong about that, but with the way the separation is moving, there will be fewer opportunities for such games. We just need to make sure that we get paid for the inconvenience until they finally back out completely.
I would not be at all opposed to playing Wazzu or Oregon St.

I don’t think they will ever honor the game in Boone but you never know. The landscape of college football changes daily and who knows what it might look like in 4 years.appst89 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 6:41 amIt is my opinion that, just like South Carolina, NC State will never set foot on the turf at KBS. Get the intrastate sports bill passed and they will play in Boone.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 6:59 amI don’t think they will ever honor the game in Boone but you never know. Time for payback 30+ years later! That would be a fun west coast game like Wyo was.

Re: NC State series in danger?
all other things football aside, NCSU thinks they are much better, bigger, smarter etc. than they really are. I am sure they think playing app especially at kbs would be a serious step down from their "lofty" presence. In reality, we all know the real truth.

Re: NC State series in danger?
Saw where NC State was #13 in one of those way too early polls. If they want to legitimize that ranking, they should want to play us, not be afraid to. Also, why are you going to let UNC one up you? I know we probably won’t play UNC for a while, but they manned up surprisingly and did the 3 game series with us and came to Boone. NC State should not strive to be lesser than UNC, that’s an embarrassing look for them.

Re: NC State series in danger?
Wyoming is the west not the west coast, the west coast is California, Oregon, and Washington. Maybe Alaska and Hawaii. The west coast is a 1000+ miles from Wyoming. Nor is Idaho the west coast, though closer to the west coast than Wyoming.

I would like to play utk, we owe them for that intentional fumble that was not called. Besides, playing in 100,000 + stadiums is fun.

Selfishly, give me Wazzu home and home. Been dying to go to Pullman for a game.

Re: NC State series in danger?
Fans of both see no upside to playing App. Win, supposed too, lose and it’s a huge deal. Add in no recruiting advantage due to Boone’s location. They would rather play an easy OOC opponent in a hot recruiting area. It sucks but that’s the take.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 10:22 amSaw where NC State was #13 in one of those way too early polls. The upside for App is that is does help with Appalachian's recruiting.Pikapp79 wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:09 pmFans of both see no upside to playing App. Win, supposed too, lose and it’s a huge deal.
