We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Nice to have a program that has such rich history and great chances with the current season and a future that is equally rich with possibilities.

And a more recent one that hopefully is not so long ago that maybe a few of us remember.

No one will be better than David Jackson for me.

In the time before App could reliably be on TV, there was no streaming other than radio (if you were lucky), listening in like this was all that made App football accessible if you couldn't be there in person. We lived in TX for almost 10 years and Jackson and Brown brought all these special moments to our small living room tailgate. Their voices are old friends and a dose of nostalgia every time I stop and listen to these clips. Just perfection.

Did you use internet feeds to listen? I am not sure when those started but clearly were around before TV streams hosted by App State.

I get that but Adam is great and you can tell bleeds black and gold in his content. Personally I like all of the non radio, multimedia stuff he does as well

Man…if listening to those radio calls doesn’t get you fired up and ready for the season, then nothing will!

I think both Adam and David are both great..just in different ways.
We have been blessed with radio talent compared to many other schools

Completely agree. I wasn’t high on Adam at first, but you can definitely tell he loves this team. He’s grown on me and I enjoy listening to him when needed.

I’m going to be biased towards Jackson simply because he www the guy when I was in school and when it was a road game, was the only way we could keep up with the game.

This needs to be an annual refresher post at the beginning of the first week before a game. The last week 100 countdown from GAS and this added to the first week/game week ...gets the juices flowing for some football.

I grew up listing to DJ every weekend on the radio. Nothing tops DJ and Steve Brown that is G.O.A.T status for App State PxP. However Adam has done a great job and continues to do a great job with football PxP always enjoy listing to him each week. Growing up in the 00's tuning the radio in to David & Brownie from KBS or from UTC, Wofford, Southern etc was always great. Childhood memories at it's finest.

Yes, almost exclusively! I can still hear Jerry Moore's ad for Skyline Skybest where he drug out the "s" so long. Every time I see one of their billboards now I hear him reading it. :D
