We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

When you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...
coaches would probably want more balance (only 80 yards rushing) and better decision making.
But congrats anywho on the award. As he goes, App goes...

Your propensity to always blame the teenagers / young adults and not the highly paid grown men in charge is embarrassing for you.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:16 pmWhen you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...

Hmm…so we went from Joey being the weak link to Joey getting Offensive Player of the Week. I know you’re not enthused by I feel validated by this.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:16 pmWhen you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...

I sat on the upper deck, I saw the plays develop. ECU was blitzing probably 75% of the time, and the receivers could not get separation from the defenders many times. I know that it looked like Joey was just finding wide open guys but that was not the case most of the game. The fact Joey finished with 32 completions against that defense, which includes a probable 1st round draft pick, is good.
The problem at Clemson was the same, except Clemson could drop 7 while play a combination of man and zone leading the receivers to have no separation at all. The drops in that game were not on Joey; he was putting the ball in the only place it could be put and it didn’t work out.
Why people continue to doubt this man mystifies me. Clearly many people outside of App think of him more highly than people inside the fan base.

FYI the highly paid grown men in charge did not throw one pass, catch one pass, make single block or tackle, or run the ball once.yosef69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:52 pmYour propensity to always blame the teenagers / young adults and not the highly paid grown men in charge is embarrassing for you.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:16 pmWhen you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

And whose job is it to teach them how to do those things better and recruit the ones who can do it well?scatman77 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 7:47 pmFYI the highly paid grown men in charge did not throw one pass, catch one pass, make single block or tackle, or run the ball once.yosef69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:52 pmYour propensity to always blame the teenagers / young adults and not the highly paid grown men in charge is embarrassing for you.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:16 pmWhen you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...

I’m happy with this week’s game. I am unhappy with DOE insinuating Joey is the reason we win or lose games.

Please don’t quote DOTE. Many of us put him on ignore awhile ago.

Joey makes 100k from the NIL collective. He gets the award when he passes well, he can take the heat when he throws into the 1st row. you type "teenagers" like they are 14 or 15 -- gimme a break, and this is the first post where conversation where I have said hey Joey needs to make better decisions...yosef69 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:52 pmYour propensity to always blame the teenagers / young adults and not the highly paid grown men in charge is embarrassing for you.DenverOfTheEast wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 6:16 pmWhen you get behind 16-0 you have to throw a lot...

ya'll are the boring ones that no one wants to tailgate with and probably are down by the tennis courts alone.
