Re: Kameron Bryant
"Velocity" may be the wrong word. Perhaps it's a combination of the actual speed of the pass and its trajectory. Not doubting his ability - just remarking on what it looks like from GGG. Kam made some mighty fine passes Saturday and some much stronger reads all 'round. Having the time to step into the passes and get a full follow-through made tons of difference. SoCon Offensive POTW sounds great on him, tooAppSt94 wrote: I will have to disagree with you on his velocity. He made some throws that can't be made without velocity. The one thing that I saw that made a difference was that he was able to step into some throws and drive the ball.

If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.

Compared to recent qb's is what we're talking about, and it looks less "zippy" than a DeAndre or Richie. I'm not knocking it or saying it won't work (because it obviously just did). It's just an observation. Maybe it's partly because he puts more air under the ball.

Re: Kameron Bryant
I don't think Kam's arm is quite as strong as Ritchie, AE or Dre but it is certainly strong enough. He also showed good accuracy on the longer throws down the field when given the time and room to step into his throws. I just hope the OL continues to improve so that Kam can take full advantage.

Re: Kameron Bryant
My observation from watching Saturday (and only listenting to previous outings) is that he is showing improvement and promise. I think he is capable of becoming a quality QB. I'm not sure he's going to be anyone's hero, or supplant anyone in the record books, but I expect he will be solid and dependable, making a few great plays along the way.
He does need to work on his strength. He seemed to under throw the longer balls on Saturday, forcing receivers to come back to the ball instead of hitting them in stride. I think his arm strength is holding his accuracy back, there were at least 3 passes either underthrown, or not thrown hard enough that could've easily been interceptions against a better secondary.
I like his, and the team's, prospects. GIven improvements on the O-line and Cox continuing to be a beast, Bryant has an opportunity to open the field a bit.

“When you take that field today, you've got to lay that heart on the line, men. From the souls of your feet, with every ounce of blood you've got in your body, lay it on the line until the final whistle blows.”

Re: Kameron Bryant
The line gave him more time and he played with alot of confidence it seemed. He really threaded the needle on a few of those throws! He did get a break on a couple that probably should have been picked and I'm sure he will continue to throw some picks moving forward but I liked the way he was aggressive and attempting the tough throws. Our receiving corps made some great grabs and it looks as if they have all stepped up and solidified as a unit now that the higher profile receiver is gone. Here's to continued improvement this Saturday afternoon!!!! Go App!

Re: Kameron Bryant
Well deserved honor. For our quarterback to be so recognized speaks highly of our offensive line play and the confidence of our team in general. This shows that true leadership is starting to emerge. I'm feeling really good about our future. Can't wait for the UTC game. Go App!!!
Re: Kameron Bryant
Bryant had a great game, was decisive with his reads and throws, showed alot of confidence in the pocket, it seem like something clicked for him in this game. But, the arm strength is still a concern. He underthrew several passes, should have been picked off atleast twice on passes that just took too long to get out to the receiver, and one of those passes would have been a pick six. I don't think his arm is weak, but it is just average, during the offseason, needs to get stronger.
