We should have trounced A&T, Citadel, and Charleston Southern, but we didn't. I wouldn't count our chickens before they hatch.
I think you totally misread his post. He made no prediction, or counted chickens, he simply said IF App does what it should, it won't tell us much. How is that "counting chickens before they hatch?"

It was a great victory but yes it was not your typical GS team. They are beat up bad but we looked better than we have all year. This week will probably tell us more than any game this year. Georgia and Western will really tell us nothing. I look for a good victory this week to hopefully set us up to run the rest of the SOCON table.
I think one of the greatest thing to come out of that game is that the coaches really are not made of stone. They actually do move. Some of them even speak

App now has a chance to alter the SoCon race and the playoff picture. A loss to App would be devastating to both UTC and Wofford as both have other tough games remaining as well as a game against each other. App may not count in the SoCon standings but those games certainly do for UTC and Wofford. Let's hope for the ghosts of Kidd Brewer to rise up again against the Mocs.

I just got back in from tucson (yes I know they have internet, i just didn't have the time) and wanted to say how proud I am of our team. I know I have given them some crap on here but it was a great win. It doesn't matter to me if GS was weak or not, if we would have had good ref's we could have doubled our score.

Some things I heard in the parking lot.... GS thought we couldn't pass and that they were going to key on the run. KB passing would have killed them even with their #1 team in place because they didn't expect/plan for the unexpected. KB is starting to look for the open player and not throw when someone isn't open. I've heard he's very smart in class and he's starting to look that way on the field.

We looked focused! Did Price's problems affect the whole team or are we just better prepared?

I guess this weekend we'll answer some questions that are still out there, but no matter what this was a game we really needed to win and we did...and we did it well. We should have nothing but praise for our boys not giving up the season.

BINGO! I think you have hit the nail on the head. Based on performance last Saturday, it does appear that Price's antics and misbehaving affected the WHOLE team.

Good riddance! What a complete dolt!

A prediction would have been, "as we will." Saying "as we should" is the same as saying, "on paper App has more talent." Pretty clear, actually.

Was anyone else secretly hoping that GSU's Eagle would fly away after the military tribute?
