Re: ODU
We open as 2 TD dogs this morning and I think that is VERY generous to us. Probably should be closer to -17.5 or -21 ODU. I’m not even trying to troll or be pessimistic. I’ve had this one chalked up for a while, regardless of a W or L this past Saturday. If you thought we struggled defending Coastal’s offense, then I advise you wear a cap on Saturday so you don’t pull your hair out. Doesn’t mean we can’t win most of the rest, but winning this game will require our best and maybe their worst performance of the year.

Re: ODU
ODU had three turnovers and were stopped four times on 4th and 1 against Marshall... I have a feeling it's going to be a long day for the Apps. See everyone in Norfolk!

Re: ODU Discussion
No defensive line pressure on Joseph a dual threat QB means a long day for a already weak App secondary. DJ has to dial up a scheme for blitzes or loading the box. Surely their is a weakness we can expose.

Depressing state of affairs. I think we have one season before apathy sets in among the fan base. Then we are ark state

Re: ODU Discussion
With our injury situation what it is on the offensive line and attrition on defense, a 6-6 record will be, uh, challenging. Home games against Georgia Southern and Arkansas State might be our best chance at getting there.

Re: ODU Discussion
I am honestly not expecting a win but it may be closer than we expect. Surely our guys will get up and focused on this one after giving last week away.

Re: ODU Discussion
Injuries are going to be our undoing the rest of the season unfortunately. If we get one OL back and Dub back at RB maybe we can make a bowl game, don't we're likely to be a favorite in only one remaining game.
If the staff can make adjustments to utilize the depth remaining on offense it will be impressive. Could come down to an impressive route running WR group's ability to stop dropping passes, and the defense tackling better.

Re: ODU Discussion
We’re not going to stop them. Bring 6 every down and hope to rush him into a mistake. Go for it on every 4th down if out of FG range. Only kick a FG on 4th and more than 15. Onsides kick it EVERY SINGLE TIME.
