Re: ODU Discussion
Hell yes. TD Dozier!!!! Swann is the man! I have not seen Kohl make a throw like that yet this year.

Re: ODU Discussion
DLo also rolled a true freshman out there against southern Miss instead of wiles. A precedent has been set

The color guy is a complete idiot. And he’s poor at math.

Re: ODU Discussion
Can't say that we didn't have our chances in this game. ODU did not really play that well, we just played worse and continued to make self-inflicted wounds.

Well, I was wrong about QB. Swann was better and probably should’ve been subbed in earlier.
Despite App’s many problems, they didn’t miss 3 FGs today. So there’s that.

What precedent do you mean?Seattleapp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:51 pmDLo also rolled a true freshman out there against southern Miss instead of wiles. A precedent has been set

Re: ODU Discussion
Hot take: A healthy Swann playing the last two weeks would have us bowl eligible.

Re: ODU Discussion
Not knowing when to put the right qb in. The true freshman was waaay over his head against so miss and Swann shoulda started the second half todayAppDub wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 3:00 pmWhat precedent do you mean?Seattleapp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:51 pmDLo also rolled a true freshman out there against southern Miss instead of wiles. Re: ODU Discussion
To play contrarian a bit, it’s also possible ODU just stopped trying. We’ve been on that side of things plenty of times and let a blowout become annoyingly close.
They seemed perfectly content letting Swann chuck the ball into the soft short yardage routes. He made some nice throws so I’m not dismissing him. Just something to keep in mind.

Re: ODU Discussion
Gotcha. My question is, was Swann truly healthy then or was it due to the picks. Who knows, but seems he will be back in the saddle soon. Gives us the best chance it seems.Seattleapp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 3:04 pmNot knowing when to put the right qb in. Re: ODU Discussion
I see it differently. Swann made decisions way faster than Kohl and anticipated the open window better. He hit on the deep ball just as much as the mid level and short pass. He's just reads the play quicker. Forces it sometimes, but pulls the trigger quicker.ah59396 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 3:05 pmTo play contrarian a bit, it’s also possible ODU just stopped trying.
