Re: Birmingham Bowl
I just want to know what our coaches see in Gillon. Every time he plays, he looks lost and not good at all. Heck, Wilson was moved out of the QB room for the entire season, and we can all see that he plays the position much better than Gillon does.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Bummer. Defense held for a half and now getting gashed.
Same issues in the backend by some of the same guys.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
The obvious, 3 INTs on a team that should be coached to run the ball when we are playing with less than a full roster. I blame DLO.
GIVE 'EM HELL APPS!

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Agreed. These QBs just aren't ready for the limelight yet and stuff like this is why I did not want this game. If not for turnovers we would look good but that is part of the game and one of many things I feared could happen with this skeleton roster. We have to forget this game. View it as a scrimmage that was televised and focus on 2026.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Well, we do have Tom Brady’s whisperer on staff. I’m sure he and the 900 years of nfl experience on staff have a solid rationale. Seriously though, what other options do we have at QB today?

One team put the rivalry game name on their helmet.
The other team compared this to an NFL divisional game. And coaches like an NFL coach.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
I am growing to hate this offense. All of the passing is to the wings and flat. IF a DB is playing inside leverage, all he has to do is step inside and it's a interception. That will give you multiple turnovers every game. Some of it is on the QB's but most of it is on coaching/play design.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
None of the 3 INTs should have been thrown by the QBs. Eat the throws, live for 3rd or 4th down.
Wrong read on the RPO by Wilson.
The out was not there by Gillon.
Mbake gave up on the route but too risky of a throw anyway.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
After watching that throw to Stroman I’m confident in saying Loggains is a bad coach … you left THAT on the bench and tried moving him to defensive ??? What the heck????
