Re: Birmingham Bowl
Im just gonna say. Where the F has Wilson been. With our QB struggles its insane we didn't give this guy some snaps. If he was running the practice squad then the coaching staff knew he could do this and didn't even try it in games. I think what this shows is that money talks more than talent. The other 2 qbs had the donor paychecks and got the minutes instead of letting Wilson develop with some game snaps here and there to change the pace and get things moving. Just nuts. I hope Wilson stays.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
A pass play designed for 1 yard gain is dumb when you need 10.

Wilson was moved to defensive back during the year by this clown crew.appdaze wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 4:30 pmIm just gonna say. Where the F has Wilson been. Re: Birmingham Bowl
Fourth quarter interview, Coach DL what do you need to do in order to get back into the game? Go away from what has worked, and go 3 and out.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
D seems tired now, probably because of lack of depth. But no pressure on their QB in passing situations.

Super impressed with the OL.
If we had our Full DL this is a different ball game.
(and if our QBs didn’t force throws that weren’t there)

Re: Birmingham Bowl
We’re pretty even in the stats category with Georgia Southern, just not the scoreboard. I’m proud of our guys for going out there with a team basically put together with scotch tape. So pissed off with our coaching staff, where has Wilson been the entire year??

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Game over. Should have stuck with Wilson after first quarter and ran the ball to limit possessions. Coaches knew we were thin in DLine and DBs. On DLo and crew..

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Going into next season I feel somewhat better about our players. However this coaching staff has a lot to be desired, DL has stumbled all over the place most of the season, today is no different.EastTNMountaineer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 4:43 pmWe’re pretty even in the stats category with Georgia Southern, just not the scoreboard. Re: Birmingham Bowl
I just don't know what players we will have. I'm sure there are more to enter the portal that were holding off until after the bowl game.WataugaMan wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 4:47 pmGoing into next season I feel somewhat better about our players.
