Love it. Looks like EZU may have been looking ahead to the heels this coming weekend. Is there anyway both teams could lose? ;)

UNCC will have a lot of swag on Saturday- It's the first time they haven't been in the Bottom 10 in a long, long time.

I like this line about ECU

"ECU ended up not playing on Saturday because of lightning. It also ended up not playing on Sunday. Problem was there was a game on Sunday."
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Yeah A&T is quickly becoming the top FCS team in the state, if they're not there already.
If they participated in the National Championship instead of the Celebration Bowl, they would have made it pretty far. It's been neat watching them succeed!

True, but Washington is one of Broadway's proteges. Hopefully he can continue pulling in players that fit the team well.

It's hard to turn down a million dollars man...that bowl's got a richer purse than some of the lower FBS ones.

Ladies and gentlemen, while all this is fun and games let me remind you of a few games in ASU history: WCU after beating USC; first round playoff after going 11-0; VMI; Liberty. Need I say more? We are the better team this coming Saturday but let's not lose sight of the old saying: "Any given Saturday...." That being said, give 'em hell, Apps! I hope we light up the scoreboard!
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

I'd love to get a big lead early so we could get a chance to see some of the young new guys play like Cam Peoples, more of Peyton Derrick, maybe even Stephon Brown...just to name a few.

Brown's pretty far down the depth chart, not sure we will see him this year.

Nor should we. Give the kid a chance to learn. We have a star in the making with Thomas and that pass Derrick dropped in at Penn State was masterful.

What I'm talking about is wanting a game where everybody in a black and gold uniform gets on the field. It'd be fun to watch and they can appear in 4 games and still be red-shirted and get valuable playing time at the college level without the pressure. It'd also give them game film for coaches to work with. We might get another chance in a few weeks against Gardner Webb though. I'd love to see some of those new kids out there.

Every week I look at the upcoming schedule on ESPN to see who is playing and they always list tickets and how much they are going for on vivid seats.com. I like t look at the most expensive and the least expensive. The cheap ones are usually for expected blowouts (VMI vs. Penn State type games) and the most expensive are usually ranked teams or hyped games (LSU vs. Miami, Michigan vs. ND, etc.)

http://www.espn.com/college-football/schedule

This week the least expensive was $2 tickets to Duke at Northwestern.

The most expensive was APP State vs UNCC at $115.

Next closest were Georgia at South Carolina $107, Clemson @ Texas A&M $101; and Iowa State at Iowa $104.

Shows how hot this ticket is.

They are having a school supply drive for Title I schools.in Char-Meck. We could set up our own drop off box and try and out raise them. THAT would.be sticking it to them, and for a good cause.

We did 421 run with Wake. Channeling the feelings into good causes could be a two-fer. Crush them on the field and with the charity.

Either way I do support folks helping with this.
Great idea! At the very least, all of us who are able should take some school supplies ... maybe some with the Block A. Kids who need those supplies count on drives like this.
The Triangle chapter just held a school supply drive and we are doing exactly this. We are putting Block A’s on every supply collected before distributing.
