We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Even Coach Chadwell knows...

"Shawn does a great job there... he's got a tough job, he's at an alma mater that he loves— they have high expectations. He's done really well, but I don't think he's ever met those expectations."

It hurts but it’s the truth.

Game could be a mess, looks like bad weather which will certainly hurt attendance and ruin Family Weekend.

Hopefully the system clears out, but the forecast is a bit bleak.
National weather Service for Boone: Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 72.
Hope that’s accurate, every forecast I see says cloudy with rain. Although it will likely change wildly over the next couple days. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.
Ray's weather says the following at time of this posting

Mostly to partly sunny; Cannot rule out a stray shower; Pleasant

Boy, that hits on many levels.

Sorry, he's not being critical of Shawn, he's recognizing the conversation of this board. Of course, folks will read into what they want. I think the more interesting point is that the last time he came to Boone after App was coming off a thrashing (UL 41-13), he lost.
Exactly

Line down to -3.5 that’s a big move.

Let's hope there is something left to salvage for this season. I'm not expecting a lot but I'm am sure hoping for close competitive games. Another blowout this weekend and the program will spiral even deeper into chaos and will be much harder and take much longer to get back on track. Good luck Mountaineers, I'm pulling for you! As Jim Valvano said "Don't give up! Never give up!"

I'm sure there are fires going on, but describing the program as "spiraling into chaos" seems a bit hyperbolic.

We’re wearing gold and black…

App got rooked.

Penn State maybe has the most noted "white out" in college football. I believe that typically wear dark blue jerseys... As such, the opponent playing Penn State is wearing white.
I think people are overreacting a little that App. St. team is not wearing white...

Penn State's white out is pretty cool... and I get it..white is part of PS normal color pattern..

Football edited their Tweet to take out the #WearWhite hashtag after Liberty announced their unis literally seconds after ours.

The first time we did a white out against ODU and wore all white, the board was melting down over wearing white at home. Now folks are complaining we aren't doing the white out right. There will be someone complaining no matter what we do.

Just my opinion, but it should always be a black out in Boome. In the end, I don't care. It's App Football.

Overall, I agree that we are Black Saturday. However, the school decided to do it. I plan to support the the idea.

Yeah, I was commenting about this earlier in the year when Auburn tried a white out but had to where the normal home colors because they didn't get the permission from Cal (I think that was the game) to wear white. NCAA rules call for the visiting to wear white. So the only way the home team can wear it is if they get the visiting team to agree to where another color so the home team can wear white. We should never call for a white out prior to getting the approval from the visiting team for us to wear white. Makes the entire stadium look like they are wearing the oppositions colors. Not a good visual. Hell, I am completely against anything but Black at the Rock anyways. Every home game should be Black Saturday!

Not sure if the needle has moved or not or if App gets a cut of the proceeds ... I will say I have noticed people buying the white merchandise as I decided to stay in Boone last couple weeks since wife traveled to Japan. If the school gets an cut of the proceeds, maybe a good thing.

Maybe white shirts and rain will distract their players.
