We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

This might sound picky but we are ranked, our game ended nearly an hour ago and on ESPN there is still no recap.
I don’t think that’s picking nits. I watched almost all of College Gameday yesterday, and as far as I remember Cincinnati and Boise St were the only top 25 G5 teams they mentioned, and they only mentioned them for a few seconds. I realize that ESPN has to make the best content for the most viewers, but I would like to see a show that is supposed to be about college football be about ALL of college football. Watching stories about the same 8-9 teams every week gets boring.
And then there is this:
No. 25 Appalachian State 56, Georgia State 27
The big question entering Saturday was whether the Mountaineers spent too much time celebrating their big win over South Carolina, and the immediate answer was yes. Georgia State jumped out to a 21-7 lead, and App State looked like it had fallen headfirst into a trap game. Zac Taylor had other ideas. The Mountaineers reeled off 49 straight points and ended with a 56-27 victory. With Texas State and Troy remaining, App State is in good position to wrap the regular season 11-1 and remains in the mix for a New Year's Six bowl. -- David Hale

It’s like even when they try, they’re not putting any effort in.
Here’s to being the school nobody cares about, that won’t go away!

Curious about two things ... are there no rules regarding the audible levels of artificial sound as the train horn was extreme, even hurting ears of young children? Could a complaint be filed against Ga. State to NCAA or Sunbelt? And I missed seeing Yosef and our cheerleaders as Atlanta not that too distant from Boone. Where were they? Great game! Finally!

That train whistle on ever 3rd down was ridiculous. Also, I don't want to hear App fans ever complain about piped in music again. It was constant at least during the first quarter. What really worried me was the parking in the Gold Lot. Almost all of the street lights in the lot and on the street adjacent were out and it was very dark. With the rash of car break in s we are having in ATL its a crime spree waiting to happen. I love ATL but what a horrible impression to be left with for visitors.

We put our subs in and let them run the score up.
Good to see the subs get some PT. Only scored one TD on them. Still doubled their points.

The train was almost as bad as the chicken at USC, but overall, I appreciate how hard GaSt worked to have a Gameday environment. Imagine if App had the resources GaSt had. I don't mind piped in music, as long as it's blended in well with a traditional band. They even played a lot of Lecrae/Mineo which is good CLEAN hip hop that my kids can repeat.
Blew my mind how they couldn't bring more fans for a Top 25 visitor at a good venue right in the city and basically giving away tickets. I'd probably go to every game if I lived locally.

OK ... did Drink have a bandage behind his right ear?
It was where they changed his computer chip with an upgrade that made sure he remembered he had an NFL WR on the team who gets open on 90% of his routes.

I wasn't online last night and read through this full thread this morning.
It is hilarious to read through this stuff with the benefit of knowing the eventual outcome. I highly recommend it.

And then, if we won’t go away, they’ll hate us. I couldn’t believe the backlash UCF got for being successful. So they called themselves “champions”? There’s literally no other way for them to win a championship, and they went undefeated. College football people HATED that.

How about the game Jolly played? Young man played lights out and that pick 6 is really when our whole team got going.
Yes Sir. A group of us who work with Shaun’s father here in Atlanta were at the game. He shut down the receivers he covered. I had hoped my Tennessee Vols would recruit him, but alas.... He won’t do anything but make your school proud on and off the field.

I heard that Drink caught a cleat behind his right ear, hence the bandage.
