From twitter reports OL Dawson Ellis (6′ 5″ 260) of East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, GA has received a reported offer from App. A player page with highlights has been put on the Main Page. Some other sites are showing him at 280 but hudl and 24/7 show 260. I'm doing some checking and will update the weight if the higher number is correct. I'm guessing it is as linemen don't usually lose 20 lbs unless they are wrestling also. It's also being reported by twitter that he has just picked up offers from Ga Sou and Elon in the last couple of days.

Here is an updated list of reported offers out as of June 3rd. With camps starting up and players starting to commit there will be changes. The offers will still be out but a lot of the higher rated players will be committing to BCS programs. Since the offer is still there I just move them on the main page but unless I hear of an offer being pulled they will stay on the list. I'm keeping a running total and will update it from time to time. I expect will be seeing our first commits over the next 3 weeks or so. It's already been pretty busy but it's about to get real busy with camps, 2014 signees coming in towards the end of June, summer workouts, fall camp, the season with lots of visitors and then the final push to signing day. Just hope my computer doesn't blow up.

According to his 24/7 profile the 3 star ATH is picking up some BCS interest but it's not showing an offer. His tweet says App is his second offer and he's following Coach Stepp and a coach from Ball State so they might be his reported second.

One explanation for the low number of NC offers might be that the staff may have decided to extend fewer "swing for the fences" offers. Last year a number of the in-state offers were guys we never really had a chance with, due to either their ranking or at least one high-major offer (i.e. several of the NC State commits).

This year, among the offers Moose has listed, Bryce Love, Kengera Daniel and Kendall Hinton fit that description. The rest, at least at this point, appear to be attainable (based on their other options, not necessarily any knowledge of their interest level in App).
